First, not all Syrians are Muslim. I have met a Catholic man from Syria that was coming to Sweden to meet his family who were coming into Sweden because the USA would not allow them in. The man had been living in California for several years and trying to get his family in to be with him. He was a medical doctor in California working at a hospital as a brain surgeon. Sweden hopefully benefited from this family coming to Sweden. It was clearly a big loss to the USA to have this fellow leave and move to Sweden.

We should but there should be a cap and government should support them to give them jobs and help get education if needed to help them secure higher qualified jobs.

Sweden does not have the proper social structure in place to take a large number of refugees however I do not believe that Sweden should stop accepting them because they had no choice in the matter. And there should not be a double standard between refugees coming from Syria, and the refugees coming from Ukraine.

Limit the numbers to whatever you can integrate into society, Without segregation or price hikes in real estate.
Extensive background checks is a must. They must be given conditions that they will be useful to society. There must be conditions in place that they should be employed or pay taxes if they must be give social benefits

 @94HH78Janswered…2yrs2Y

Yes. As long as they can be integrated into society ( follow the Swedish laws and have the same rights as all the other tax paying citizens) and only after an extensive background check.

 @94B4TK5answered…2yrs2Y

Europe needs native white, Christians people and they don't needs any more illegal immigrants from another continent.

 @93RNBB3answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only accept families (regarless of gender and religious backgrounds)

 @93B75JXanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only if they plan to integrate into Swedish society, meaning they will learn the language and culture

 @92M8YB6answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but have a plan for them. Don't just accept them and not integrate them into the society

 @8Z72B52Sweden Democratsanswered…2yrs2Y

Nej, för tillfället har vi fullt men möjlighet ska finnas inom snar framtid

 @8YHCZ8HModerateanswered…2yrs2Y

No, Syria has virtually ended its decades long civil war, and nowadays is rebuilding itself.

 @8Y56F6Sanswered…2yrs2Y

Only after making sure that immigrant alredy in the country can get citizenship and a job, don't send back people juat to take in more, that is a waste of money.

 @8XZPFT4answered…2yrs2Y

yes but do actual backgroundchecks and only if they will respect our lawes rules and standards

 @8XCLCM9answered…2yrs2Y

No, refugees should only be accepted by the nearest safe country from where they are escaping.

 @8W4KD4PLeftanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes and no, we should have a stable economy and a stable housing economy before we take in refugees.

 @8TD4H75Social Democraticanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but better assimilation and the number needs to reflect whether Sweden can cope. So a % of the whole population needs to be taken in to account

 @8QSK2H8Sweden Democratsanswered…3yrs3Y

No, we have taken in too many immigrants and we need to drastically reduce immigration

 @8K67JT2answered…4yrs4Y

It needs to be decided from case-to-case regardless of the country of origin.

 @8HTT5CTModerateanswered…4yrs4Y

Accept some but also make sure Other countries are taking in refugees as well

 @8CY9S4QModerateanswered…4yrs4Y

 @93WVTRT from Wisconsin answered…2yrs2Y

Divide them equally with others countries. Why should my taxes have to pay for 100% of refugees? Europe should divide refugees between all of their countries and the u s could take a certain percentage.

 @93MFRG2answered…2yrs2Y

They should be settled in countries close to Syria that have the same kind of culture and language as them.

  @93G2RP7 from Wisconsin answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but the government should spend any money on getting them to the United States or taking care of them

 @8T9D7X5 from California answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but if only they are threatened non-Muslim minorities like Assyrians or Druze.

Yes, but with circumstances that allow them to become legal citizens or stay on a visa.

 @92ZLLSSanswered…2yrs2Y

background checks are important but i don’t think extensible and continuous checks and monitoring are necessary; if they are clear the first or second time, then surely they’re okay

 @92YTSSF from North Carolina answered…2yrs2Y

Yes with background checks, and other careful ways of looking into their reason.

 @7PTCG38 from Wisconsin answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, we should accept 10,000 refugees but only after extensive background checks.

 @92MTVGV from California answered…2yrs2Y

 @92MDVFR from Georgia answered…2yrs2Y

Asylum? Yes. Finance their expenses once they arrive in America? No. We currently have hundreds of thousands of homeless citizens in the USA, so funding foreign nationals seeking refugee status within our borders needs to be addressed by the private sector, not the government.

 @92GWJXX from Georgia answered…2yrs2Y

No, make safe zones in their own country so they don't destroy ours.
